Welcome! Thank you for your interest in my work. As a multi-disciplined artist I have more than one category of work for your consideration.
My wearable art reflects my work as a silversmith and metal artist over the last twenty years.
My painted works, Impressions, and Dancing in Thin Places, are recent ongoing collections that reflect two different styles of work in acrylic and oils.
The digital work is a category that displays the work I do in a more commercial vein using digital photography and Photoshop.

Creations forged in gemstones and precious metal, each piece is a unique one-of-a-kind work. Pendants are creations that often express a theme using symbolic shapes. These may be hung in a frame, or worn. Other wearable art include Blair's signature "swirly" earrings made from sterling silver.
If you are interested in consigning a collection of my work for your gallery please feel free to contact me via email.
If you are interested in the craft of silversmithing contact me for information about private local instruction.
Impressions is an ongoing collection that explores what the emotion of a place or thing could look like without being strictly representational. It is the depiction of the implied. Broad sweeping strokes of color define this collection creating the visual interpretation of an experience. | ![]() |
Dancing in Thin Places began as a reaction to a personal emotional state. The early Celts believed that there were actual locations where the substance of the world as we know it became so thin that if one stood in that place they could get a sense of the supernatural. In my paintings I record not the “places” as much as moments experienced where I have felt this “thinning”. Where I take this concept considers these times in our lives where, if we are paying attention, we may experience something that transcends our normal sensibility, something divine. The whole collection reflect an evolution in my spirital as well as artistic journey. | ![]() |
These are surreal compositions created using original photography from around the world. Ideas from dream states are brought to life by using contemporary collage methods. Some are representational, some are metaphorical, but they all communicate a deep concept that normal illustration could not attempt. | ![]() |
